We have arrived back in Cusco after another fun journey. I have been ill with a stomach upset for two days, not the best preparation to come back here. Our flight with Taca this morning was delayed an hour on the tarmac in Lima because Cusco airport was shut. A continual downpour since 7am yesterday meant that visibility was very low. Once the skies cleared a bit we took off but only after attempting to keep Salvador occupied on board. It was still chucking it down when we got here and a thunderstorm in between added to the overall miserable view.
