Brilliant, hot, sunshine for most of today although an ominous layer of snow is covering the mountain ridge opposite the apartment.
I knew I was taking a risk by getting excited about the bookcase apology yesterday.
When we went down there this morning, two hours after the appointed time, we were greeted with a rather familiar reaction.
'Ah, well we don't have the colour that you chose, what colour would you like?'
'So you haven't even started yet?'
'No we were waiting for you to choose the colour material you want'
'So after four days you haven't started it, when I visited yesterday you hadn't started it and when you phoned yesterday to apologise for it being late you hadn't started it'
'No, well the material is the problem you see ....'
'The material is not the problem, the people of Cusco like you are the problem, you're all the same, why didn't you tell us yesterday'
'Well you've got a point there, I really don't want to upset you, I will bring it personally to your house at 9am, no 10am in the morning'
'See you in the morning, goodbye'
What a waste of time.
Like I said to Esther if they had said Saturday the first time we went in there and had it ready Saturday it wouldn't have been a problem - idiots.
All the years that I was at Hreod Burna, the Adver's shining example against our rough school was Headlands, I have long thought that the hurricane of rubbish that blows around Clive Parade was indicative of what was going on inside those sky blue gates and the latest league tables seem to confirm that.
