Salvador is pictured in the restaurant Tunupa wearing a leftover from last night's celebrations.
Apparently omelette and chips at 2am in Gypsy this morning was not a celebratory meal (some people are so fussy) so we went out today to Tunupa in the Plaza de Armas.
With a flourish large menus were placed in front of us and Esther asked how much the buffet was, 'Well, we've only got the buffet today' 'I fancy the buffet' I said and the menus were duly withdrawn, their cornucopia of delicious dishes having to wait for a day when the chef is not hungover.
The buffet was delicious, the only problem being when an elderly Chinese tourist decided to use the same fork to sample each of the desserts. My view of this was soon obscured by the smoke billowing from Esther's ears.
As it started to rain we paid and came back to Cabracancha, Esther to go to bed and me to wallow in my namecheck on Five Live this morning (Weekend Breakfast 8.01am if you go to the listen again page). We decided against a trip to the black market today, not much open and not many taxis about mixed with a nasty area didn't seem to add up to the ideal Sunday outing.
