Salvador got a lovely book from Dad today, he was able to take it out of the envelope himself then sit on the table in the Post Office reading it. The Post Office here is enormous so we always stop a while to see what's inside the package. A least if it gets nicked on the way home we know what we are missing. We then made our way up to the San Pedro Market to buy fruit and veg and get some more tablecloth material for the cafe. Both Angelica on the veg stall and the old woman who used to sell us fruit recognised me, which was nice after such a long time. The woman selling live frogs from a bucket didn't though and we quickly passed by the scene of carnage next to her, where the dismembered relatives of the condemned amphibians lay motionless and messy. This was quickly followed up by the usual severed pigs head and body parts a bit further up the market, still no sign of another donkey, thank God, Cusco is enough to turn you vegetarian.
