50 Centavos says 'Bring it on Bottlesuckers'
We went to my favourite place today, Telefonica. We were attempting to get them to give us our money back for messing up our entry in the yellow pages. They put the cafe in the Arequipa guide rather than the Cusco guide, this is like a Swindon business showing up in the Tyne & Wear edition. Incredibly they have told us that they will give us our money back, we have to go into the office in Lima next week and they will sort it out. I will believe it when I see it. We are busy getting ready togo, Esther has been ironing all day and I have been organising my multitude of cables and gadgets that airport security always get excited about. What makes travelling light extra difficult here (apart from Salvador) is the necessity to keep irreplaceable items with you at all times. For example, if the apartment gets cleaned out when we are away they won't get our videos of Salavdor because I'm taking them with us. We went down to the Post Office and pick up a parcel form Mum & Dad (Twix eaten, videos ready to go to Lima) and once again the women who work there were going barmy over Salvador, they love the fact that he always waves goodbye. I finally got to see a hummingbird close up in the garden today, a Sparkling Violetear hovering outside the window as I was making 'We sell Marmite' signs for the cafe. Jesus is collecting us at 8.30am tomorrow to take us to the airport. On Sunday we have arranged to meet Chaska (Quechua for star), Ali's daughter, who is doing her nursing training in Lima, we will try to take her to the pictures if Auntie Maria can come to the Santa Anita crib and look after 50 Centavos for us.
