We temporarily forgot that Peru effectively now has only one operational airline. The upshot of this is that all the flights are full right through to our original date. At least Salvador had a good go at dismantling the Lan Peru office, nearly bringing a large display banner crashing down on all the waiting customers. Lan have said that they will try to fit us on a flight this Saturday but will ring us to confirm. Esther is now having her hair done in Avenida de Sol, I have brought Salvador back to the apartment for a sleep, he is currently watching 'Wallace & Gromit'. Initial problems searching for his dummy were compounded by putting on his exercise CD instead of his lullaby CD, after a couple of songs I realised something was wrong and when he started rocking in his cot it was too late to put right. Basic errors of this sort will ensure that I never make it as a full time Child Minder. Our trawl through the BAFTA and Oscar nominated films continued last night with 'Walk the Line', I didn't expect to like it but the performances of Joaquin Phoenix and Reece Witherspoon were excellent, Esther loved it too. It fell into the TV movie trap a few times but otherwise was really enjoyable, particularly as most of my knowledge of Johnny Cash previously consisted of a playground joke and always wearing black. I have just had to remove 'Wallace & Gromit' due to Salvador crying every time Wallace slides out of bed and falls through the ceiling, back to Noddy for the millionth time.
I will try to put some more videos on the site, they do eventually load.
