Outside Immigration in Lima today

Another day in the heat of Avenida Espana and Immigration has at least resulted in me getting my residents card and now we don’t have to go back there until June. It was absolutely packed again by 9am and once lunchtime came I was very happy to get out with my new carné, even if they did cut the top of my head off in the photo and took all my fingerprints again just in case they had changed in the past five years. At least this time they didn't send me to the Bolivian jungle .
