A trip to the black market to stock up on Snickers for the cafe ended in another taxi row. At least I felt we won this one. The driver refused to drop us off at at front door because it was too difficult to get his tin can back out of Cabracancha. Normally we might have just shrugged and got out but Salvador was asleep and the street is humming more of urine these days. After his refusal I paid him 1 sol for a 2 sol journey and walked away as his whining started up, one day lessons like these will sink into the so-called service industry here, perhaps Salvador's great grandchildren will reap the benefit.
