Cusco ran out of beer yesterday.
Not all beer, but the most popular sized bottle.
Typically the brewery offered us no alternative just a disjointed explanation about something to do with a machine breakdown.
It's interesting that the sale of alcohol is banned from Friday until Monday due to the elections.
A strange coincidence that their production is disrupted immediately before their sales are likely to dip.
So Esther and I have just returned from a visit to the brewery.
It was very different to my last trip to a brewery when I swayed in and staggered out of a tasting session at Arkells.
We finally managed to get an alternative out of them, a slightly larger bottle and a free case of beer, but it was hard work.
They are now exporting 'Cusquena' to the United Kingdom and at the moment there is probably more in London than Cusco.
