18 month old striker makes World Cup squad(forget 'never seen him play', this young chap has never even played)
Straight up the mountain and around twenty minutes away from our apartment it was in an area to Cusco that we had never been to before.
The house was a typical piece of Cusco 'work in progress'.
Adobe bricks litter the entrance, a bonfire wisped across the plot and builder's debris was everywhere.
Past experience of Cusco building projects and a vivid imagination enabled me to see beyond the disorder and realise that Ali was making the right move.
Her current abode in San Blas is a confusion of stray dogs, decaying buildings and bad memories.
Hopefully once she has done her moonlight flit she will be bale to make the most of her new place.
As we left I looked around to see new Cusco sprawled out in all it's ugliness below and above us only sheep.
Remote and quiet but a long way from the picture postcard views of Inca Cusco.
