Lunchtime today - (L-R) Ali, Simone, Valerio, Miriam & Me

The Moni troops came round to lunch today as we celebrated Mother's day a week early. Ali brought Saul and Miriam came with her two children Fiorella and Luis, Salvador had a great afternoon playing with them. As a special treat we bought takeaway chicken and chips, the most traditional of Peruvian food. Miriam regaled us with a story about the time her mother made toad soup for her brother, a real pick-me-up apparently, although obviously not for the toad.
