Salvador's learning curve is having its difficult moments.
He has just made a very unfortunate gesture to me.
I am sure he wanted his pencil.
He shook his hand from side to side as if there was a pencil in it.
The last time I saw this particular gesture carried out with such conviction I was watching a Swindon v Oxford match.

Greetings from th UK. Just popped in via new britblogs and kept reading, read all you've written on both blogs now. What a great life you've made happen for yourself! And I don't mean that in any patronising way or anything, just, wow, a lovely wife and gorgeous son, and a cafe somewhere interesting. Does Esther speak English? cos being bilingual opens up more choices for Salvadore as he grows up and it would help to speak it at home, though it's difficult if you're the only english speaker, I admit.
