The first wildlife we saw was as we waited to leave Pilcopata - the dog on the left has certainly put his foot in it

Jungle Day 2

After a quick breakfast we left Pilcopata for Atalaya, Manu's main port where our boat was waiting.

There were more great birds on the way but it also started to rain heavily, which delayed our departure once we got to Atalaya.
