The lost keys made a dramatic re-appearance yesterday as a thermo-nuclear war erupted between Peru and Britain.
I decided to do some shopping for the cafe and on the way back logically decided to stop at the cafe, drop the purchases off and head home.
Unfortunately the lock that Ali had re-bored last week would not budge and I was stuck on the street with six heavy bags of shopping, wriggling Salvador and Peru's Nuclear Deterrent (Esther).
Esther was not happy.
Ali was uncontactable by phone.
And I was livid.
Eventually Dan helped me get the stuff back to the house.
After a few spectacular arguments, relations began to thaw and we ended the day by watching 'Charlie & the Chocolate Factory' and eating pizza from Cusco's best takeaway Marengo.
Today we went on a carpenter hunt and Dan and I had our haircut with varying degrees of success.
Thank you to Auntie Christine & Uncle Mick for Salvador's lovely clothes and the delicious salmonella bar for us.
