RSVP

This morning we went to the opticians to get Fermin's eyes tested and get a refund on the lenses they did for me earlier this year.

We then moved on to the office of lawyer Fernando Santos and afterwards into Chinatown again.

Today my special dolly was waiting in alternative sculptor Jhonny Meza's shop of ceramic delights.

The nude nurse and nuddy nun dolls were rejected by Esther but I more than made do with a huge breasted Cholita.

We then went around the corner to Wa Lok, a fantastic Chifa restaurant (Chinese Peruvian restaurant -- the word is derived from chifan, or "eat rice" in Cantonese) in Calle Capon, where we ate loads and took the leftovers away.

As we went to our table we literally bumped into our friend Andres from Cusco, not bad out of 10 million people in Lima, small world.

We also managed to sort out the apartment we will using in Miraflores when Mum & Dad are here.
I am finding it hard to deal with a landlord called J. Lo so from now on will call him Rigsbyo.

This evening Aunty Mercedes visited and then went home without her keys, meaning that Fermin and I made the trip through Lima to take them back and also see Uncle Hector who fell out of bed last week and gave himself a nasty shiner.

He was still able to insult me about the Malvinas though.

Salvador's invitations have been delivered, so bit by bit we are getting there for the social event of the century.
