This morning we went to 'Steam', the museum of the Great Western Railway in Swindon.
It provides a fantastic insight into how the railway works functioned during their domination of the town and also has a shop full of Thomas toys for Salvador.
He loved the trains, particularly the plastic Thomas ride positioned next to a huge real steam engine.
The authentic beast proved no attraction whatsoever as he sat beaming on Thomas' footplate.
Today there were genuine former steam train drivers around to chat about their lives on the rails and tell us how they used to cook their breakfast on a shovel.
"If the driver liked the fireman he could dip his bread in the fireman´s fat".
Salvador liked being on board the King George V but still preferred the shop I think.
