I haven't forgotten the blog but work and my OU course have taken over a bit lately, hopefully I'll be able to post some photos of Salvador soon.
In the meantime, here is a poem I wrote for my course.

Jules Rimet

The golden goddess lay under leaves
thrown in the roses by sixty six thieves
coppers look, detectives seek
she’s been missing for more than a week
nothing would please a bobby more
than to get a result from their door to door
but they reckoned without a canine chancer
whose cold wet nose gave them the answer
like a snuffling sleuthing truffle pig
piebald Pickles arrived to dig
the marvellous mutt dipped his snout
and only pulled the World Cup out
a mongrel star brings three lions alive
on Camberwell Road, the A215
