Always buy a strong cot
Not just tourists get ripped off in Cusco, a printers had a go this morning when we asked for a reprint of our bills for the cafe.
Given that we were both taken aback by the quoted price we decided to get a comparison from a printers just round the corner.
Sure enough they were about half the price.
We got a whole stack fo DVD's in the post today. CBB, Dancing on Ice and all the adverts in between. Just as good was my first completely flat Mars Bars of this spell in Peru, deliciously difficult to eat.
We watched 'Memoirs of a Geisha' this afternoon, it was set just before the Second World War and went on so long I was expecting the principal character to end up sleeping with Sven.
Dark and boring. At Moni, the new menu seems to be going well so far with no major panics yet.
This evening we went up to San Blas to see Jane, her house is very nice and unusual for Cusco, lots of big windows and wide rooms.
It was nice to have a bit of nostalgia again as we walked past all of our old haunts in Carmen Alto, Carmen Bajo and Siete Angelitos.
It's a bit strange watching three week old Big Brother but morbidly fascinating nonetheless, Jodie Marsh is absolutely vile, not exactly a revelation but true.
As a vegetarian who is against the fur trade I should have a bit of sympathy with the old slapper but give me Pete Burns and his monkey jacket any day of the week.
