It's a lovely sunny day so we decided to go for a walk near Sacsayhuaman again. First we had breakfast at Gary's cafe, which was lovely, nice to talk to Jane who is trying to give up smoking using patches, it's now two years since I gave up myself. Valerio met us there and we took a taxi up the mountain, we tried to arrange for the taxi to pick us up a couple of hours later but he tried to rip us off so we told him to get stuffed. The weather was a welcome contrast from yesterday and we managed to see several Tanagers, Siskins, Hummingbirds and an Andean Flicker. Valerio found the Flicker for me, on the ground in the field next to where we play football so I guess it was the same one I saw yesterday. Had a great view because I took my telescope this time, I feel a lot more comfortable having a bodyguard up there because it is a bit desolate and attracts the weird and not so wonderful of Cusco.
