Having commenced my campaign to disperse the seeds of Reggaeton worldwide, I think the time is right to promote another truly great art form - Peruvian Local TV Adverts. This is despite Reggaeton facing resistance in certain quarters from people obviously not yet ready for the inevitable cultural revolution that is on it's way. This morning at 7am through bleary eyes amongst the glossy ads for Argentinean Burgers & American Shampoo I glimpsed the unmistakable face of my Gastroenterologist Henry Choque. The grainy commercial brought back tear inducing memories of my treatment at the hands and tubes of Dr Choque. The best bit of the advert was Henry next to a TV screen showing a young female patient a video of her insides, which reminded me too of the joy on Esther's face as she viewed parts of me that even I didn't know about. Pearl & Dean in their 70's heyday have nothing on the wooden creativity at large here.
