I have just watched some workmen trailing cables along San Agustin - apparently the preparatory work for some CCTV cameras that are going to be installed outside Moni. This should be interesting, once the cameras go up (if they ever do) I give it a maximum of half a day before they are nicked by the very people they are supposedly patrolling. Large maroon rectangular boards are going up on the walls of most streets in the historic centre of Cusco too, the motive is to formalise election propaganda although adverts for music concerts are already obliterating some of them. Tonight we are going to give 'Goodnight & Good Luck' a go, to see if it merits all the rave reviews. We have been using Skype today, the quality of which has been really good lately, it means that we don't have to pay the scary rates of Telefonica.
