WH Smith's Cusco Branch Today

Ali has managed to get a new person to look after her baby Saul.
It was her first day today, her first day in Cusco that is.
The new nanny is 22, comes from the countryside and has never visited the city before.
She only speaks Quechua too.
From what Ali has said she has a very strong personality, it certainly doesn't sound like she skipped Julie Andrews style down the mountains singing and has arrived with an air of reluctance.
Continuing on the topic of Quechua, Miriam started speaking to Ali and Valerio tonight in the mountain language, she knows full well that this always brings on three minutes of super rapid English from me which she understands as well as I understand Quechua, it's only fair after all.
