I certainly get to see some interesting sights on my way to and from work.
Today I decided to go for the scenic cross country route and apart from the usual close encounter with a landing Hercules, saw nothing of interest.
On the boring motorway route home however, a lorry jack-knifed two cars in front of me.
The prone vehicle with its cab facing backwards and trailer slewed across the road, sat gushing fuel onto the road like some giant incontinent swan.
Scores of concerned drivers from other lorries leapt to assist, leaving me to squeeze between them and the kerb to continue my journey, glancing backwards every now and then for a sunset spectacular explosion that never came.
